David Crystal once said "Ever since the arrival of printing - thought to be the invention of the devil because it would put false opinions into people's minds - people have been arguing that new technology would have disastrous consequences for language".
I believe this is largely due to misinformation and the human nature to be afraid of the unknown.
With everything created by humans the good and bad is based on how it is used. A knife can be used to prepare a meal to feed someone or to cause harm to the same person.
I think that in the near future there will be a lot of jobs that AI can do. This means we would generally have to change how we go about working. Most persons do particular jobs as a way to have money to meet their daily needs. They way we look at finance and how to acquire will have to change which will result in the adaptation of new ways of making money, so while AI will be able to do some human tasks we will either have AI as a tool to support humans and in the event that a particular job gets phased out we would need to adapt our skills to newer jobs.
An example of how we can change the way we make money would be for example monetizing content such as content on Youtube and other platforms that allow this. This is one example how how we could adapt to new ways of meeting our financial needs to avoid being jobless. That said there will still be a few special jobs for people to do because they are unique to human nature.
There are endless possibilities of how the future could go if we take advantage of AI and all its abilities. In the near future, AI will be used to make it easier for people with their work and make it more efficient.
