Everything you know is still wrong

By Lloyd Pye

"Everything You Know is Still Wrong" was published posthumously in 2017. It breathed life to the unfinished notes and drafts left by Lloyd Pye after his passing in 2013. This book serves as a reflective sequel to his earlier groundbreaking work, "Everything You Know Is Wrong," published back in 1997.

In this new book, Pye's strong beliefs that the popular stories about how Earth started and other known facts might not be completely right were echoed. This book is based on notes, ideas and recent scientific discoveries. Pye's ideas are different from what most people believe. Some people might not agree with him, but others find his thoughts really interesting, especially if you keep an open mind.

In the book, there's this idea called the "Intervention Theory." It suggests that aliens might have had a big part in shaping life on Earth. The book doesn't just say this; but attempts to show proof.

A lot is mentioned about fossils, using them to question common scientific ideas about how humans and other life started. Even with all our modern science, some things we believe might be based more on guesses than solid facts.

If you like different and cool ideas about where the universe comes from, this book is like a big plate of brain food. I liked reading it, but sometimes felt that the book had its biases and ignore some strong opposing views or was a bit one-sided.

Without spoiling the surprises in the book, I'd recommend reading "Everything You Know is Still Wrong" if you're curious about its topics. Like any cool book like this, it's best to go in with an open mind but also think critically about what you're reading.
